Eisenmann is a leading international supplier of systems for surface finishing technology, environmental technology and material flow automation.
The task
Replacement of the former ERP system PENTA by SAP ECC 6.0. The PENTA functionalities within the job floor should be replaced by SAP functionalities. The requirement specification done before had to be executed and for the gaps solution proposals had to be made. The former PP consultant was superseded by us in this project task.
The solution
The implementation of SAP ECC6.0 within the shop floor covered the material ressource planning (MRP), the production orders management, the capacity planning of workcenters, own and foreign workers, the interfaces for workcenters like sheet laser cutters and paint shops.
To define the content of the material master sights together with the key user Dirk Walter a prototype for each key process has been implemented by also activating several user exits and ABAP enhancements.
To steer the material flow within the shop floor production storage places has been defined and a concept of material finding was implemented.
A special solution was necessary for the area of pre-assembly, where assemblies sometimes have to be dismantled for shipping.
After finishing the prototype phase, the project was paused due to the fact, that the implementation partner was changed.
In the meantime the customer project lead decided to assign a new task for us within der product data management.

The requirements for the material master and bill of materials has been very high and could been solved only because of the good collaboration with the key users. A big piece of the cake belongs to Dirk Walter, who has got a very good knowledge about the companies processes and because of his precise and analytic way of working we were able to create the best solution for the company.
