SAP-PS implementation

First we held some workshops to define a standard default project landscape. It consisted out of all possible involved company areas and a maximum of netplan activities and assigned functions. After the blueprint was finalized, we customized the system and trained the key user in using it.
Highlights of the implementation has been the general definition of a standard project wherby each active project is able to derivate a project netplan to achieve its goal. Smaller project may delete not needed netplan activities. We also used SAP-HR master data to assign people to their project work. PS-texts describe on each netplan activity what to do, so even new company people can orientate quickly into the internal project regularities. Also substitution rules were defined to fill out some fields automatically and by this ease the work of the project lead to setup the project correct. To confirm netplan activities SAP-CATS was customized. Also SAP-PM with maintanenace orders and equipments have bee integrated into the project system. Some reports have been build to track the project efforts and give an overview to the project lead.
