The task
Create a blueprint and develop a solution for calculating the total replenishment time for assemblies within internal procurement.
The solution
Develop a report transaction to calculate the total replenishment time of internal procured assemblies and update the material master accordingly. By this it was achieved within the sales order creation to set realistic requirement dates which could be observed by the inhouse production. This report could be executed manually as well as a regularly scheduled batch job.
