The task

Customize SAP-PP according to the customers requirements, transfer the needed knowledge to the key users and support the go-live scenario.

The solution

First we demonstrated the SAP-PP functions and created a key business process list. For each process we established a prototype by customizing the system accordingly. After all processes have been tested ok, the data-migration was defined (work centers, routings, material master, bill of materials) and setup with ths LSMW system within SAP. After the migration we tested again, but now with the migrated customers data. Next step was the transport of the customizing settings into the productive system and from January on the system was used by the customer.
The following functions have been implemented: normal- and standard routings, workcenters with standard capacities, bill of materials with drawing positions, mounting texts and raw size positions, plan- and consumption based material planning, MRP for customers stock and plant stock as well, assembly orders, repair orders, material staging, availability checks and missing parts management, routing activities confirmation.
